Chapter Presidents
and members,
My name is Ellen Leidy and currently I'm the President of OH-2. I live in Barberton OH and am married with 2 children and 1 grandson. I retired from the Department of Defense after 28 years.
I
have sent you a new CD with all kinds of good stuff on it and forms. Make sure when you get it, you take a look at it.
If you have not gotten it yet please let me know.
The first thing I'm doing is verifying the information I have for each chapter.
If you change officers please let me know so I may report it to National. I did send it to all the officers in the chapters if I had an e-mail for you. If you are in a chapter and the president does not have an e-mail, let me know who I should be send e-mails to so that all the information gets out to your chapter and all your members.
Several of OH-2 members are on the new Ohio Department of Veterans Services Advisory Committee on Women Veterans.
I encourage you to get involved with your local government and veteran
groups. Together we can make a difference.
MI-2 hosted a Region
meeting which many members of Ohio attended. A great time was had by all.
I would like each chapter to send me at least one great things that your chapter does so we can share it with the other chapters in Area 4.
At the
2008 convention, BGeneral Salinas talked about her SHERO. Tell me about who you consider your SHERO in your chapter.
